On May 2, 2007, I began working on this series. For over 5 years with few exceptions, I spent 1-2 hours a day drawing in bound books of watercolor paper. It was my way for lack of a better description to shut the world and focus on the words and images that appeared to spontaneously wind up on the page. In those moments, It was as if I had entered into another realm where my hand guided what I did. My mind was just there for support. 

Now those books contain hundreds of drawings. I am continuing to work on this series intermittently. In the blog entries "In a Collectors Words" and "Making a Habit"  entries there are more details about this series of work.

Each piece in this gallery is available as a limited signed print of the original which remains in a bound book. They have the date or dates when I worked on it. These images in this gallery are from May 1-16, 2009 plus a few from 2015.
